Mine are the Sidi Sympatex On-Roads. They're made in Italy, super comfortable, great for walking, and totally waterproof. I know they're not the right protection for the MX type guys, but then I am a backroad tourer who needs comfort and waterproof doesn't hurt for water crossings, either. I need something that I can wear for days on the bike and remain comfortable. These are the ones, I think they cost about $240 nowadays. The Idaho 11-day backroad tour this summer once again proved their worth. B E Goat
