Hello Listers,
Since we're riding towards a group name, I think it's appropriate that we
also have a mascot. The enclosed is a pic of a fire department canine. It
was taken at the 2000 POW / MIA Memorial Rally at Cripple Creek, Colorado.
This ride was led by CO Senator Bill Nighthorse Campbell, which included
around 7000 cycles.
Ed Lubejko and I composed 2 of the 6 dual-sport bikes I saw on Saturday,
with the remainder being Harleys & such. We rode 30 miles of dirt to the
event, some with another local, Rex Hefferan. Just for the record, even
looking out of place at the event, I still felt the love. What a great sport!
