how much offroad I can do. My KLR is set up more for road, tires and suspension, One time I entered the Elsinore Grand Prix, I put knobbies on but forgot to raise the frontend back up, I figured that out in the first sand wash! It just plowed on matter how far rearward I put my weight and how fast I tried to go to get on top the sand! But the bike sure slid well in the flat smooth sections with the front lowered like that, I was flatracking thru there having a blast. I mostly ride with the sportbike guys, but know some good roads around Frazier Park. I could meet you on the Crest Hwy some time. I once took a dirt road off the crest that lead me to the top of the ski lifts above Wrightwood, I can do that road the way my bikes setup now.
