help urgently need with front forks

I dumped mine on the trail on Sunday. I too twisted the bars in relation to the forks. Simple enough to fix...enough to get home anyways....just find a tree or post beside the trail, put the wheel against the tree and force the bars back into place. Not the proper way, but it sure beats riding with the bars turned or spending alot of time trying to fix it on the trail. Of course this won't work so well if the tube has been bent. Canuk on a KLR
