crash guard and thanks

Post by zootpatutie » Tue Aug 22, 2000 12:14 pm

ISP's been down so haven't sent thanks to Tom and others for their earlier responses on chain harmonics. Few stiff links and very variable play between different segments. Replaced chain and sprockets. Thanks for the help. Checking the bike and reviewing my Sunday a.m. bailout I realized big thanks are in order to Tim Bernard for his highway pegs and radiator protectors. The highway pegs/guard dug into the dirt road when the I put the bike down and kept it up off my leg during the slide. This let me use it as a launching pad to dive for the clear space inside the car's path of travel. Glad the bike's only dinged up and that the guards protected expensive parts on it and on me. Great investment. Highly recommended. Todd A9
