Shocking! It's hard to imagine that this fellow lived long enough to sit
up-right and have his picture taken. Does anyone know how this happened and
the outcome?

This has to be a post mordem, someone probably sat him up to get the shot,
there's no breathing tubes, nothing on the wound
nasty!

This is most likely a botched suicide attempt where the victim placed the
gun barrel in his mouth but angled it to far forward removing the front part
of his face. This is actually more common than you'd think and from the
picture there are no other visible lacerations or contusions on the part of
his body shown... highly unlikely a motorcycle crash that would do this to
his face would leave his shoulders and arms untouched(note the blood
pressure cuff on the right arm). Yes he looks very much alive and YES people
can and do survive these HORRIBLE things after mucho reconstructive
surgery... I do not believe this particular pic is from a motorcycle
accident.
If you look at all the cage accidents and see just how unbelievably auto
parts can penetrate the human body in sick and perverse ways with
catastrophic consequences you just may well opt for sailing through the
air(if your lucky) and grinding to a halt on you butt(if your luckier
still), instead of being in a serious cage accident... although I hope none
of us ever experience either... I would like to see the number of deaths and
types of non-lethal injuries that occur as a percentage of total accidents
for bikes and cages... does anyone know about this?????... i suspect it may
not be as against bikes as much as we are led to believe.

If someone had suffered that much facial damage, don't you think his eyes
would have been damaged as well. Look again.

I think I'll pass. Anyone with a URL name like that is already well beyond me in the demented department.

strange wheezing/rattling

Has anyone experienced a wheezing/light rattling noise on light to
mid acceleration? It seems to come from the engine and I have ruled
out the drive chain although it is hard to pinpoint. It also seems
more common as the engine gets warmer. Any thoughts out there?
