[dsn_klr650] very nklr - xr list

Post by Jim Jackson » Mon Aug 21, 2000 12:41 pm

Hey Folks! I've had my 83 XR 350 for sale for a little while now an no bites. I'm probably asking too much ($1,200) and it's probably the wrong time of the year. Be that as it may I'm starting to consider keeping the beastly thing and putting a Baja Designs dual sport kit on it to ride trails. That said I'm looking for an XR list like the KLR list because the first order of business to making this bike street worthy is replacing that dasterdly front drum brake... Anyone know of an XR list? Thanks, Jim Jackson II A13 - South Carolina ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

Your mid size thumper was and is still a nice bike. (even though the 85 models were much better)  I don't know of a mail list specific to your 350 but there are several lists for the XR400 and my list for the XR650L at.. http://www.angelfire.com/ut/xrlug/  Changing your front brakes to disc might require changing the whole fork assembly.   Fred
