Whatever you do , avoid at all costs the highway that runs from I-80W near Fairfield to 680S in Benecia. Very dangerous for a bike(windy), I almost lost it being blown completely across the freeway.(60mph steady crosswinds. Them's my old stompin' grounds. Wind so steady that the fire house at Cordelia would destroy hurricane force rated flags in about three months. Built Travis AFB near there because they only had to build two runways for the wind variables. C5A always looked like they were standing still when they were climbing out. Todd A9
