Yes, Pete. And don't forget he invented the internet, had a famous novel (Love Story) penned after he & Tipper's life and discovered the environmental calamity of Love Canal. That alone would be enough to qualify him but, add to that, he's spent his entire adult life in politics, as well as, identified the internal combustion engine as "the greatest threat to human existence". Yes, Bush is an idiot. He wasted most of his life in the private sector. And smart? Yes indeed, Gore is smarter than Thomas Jefferson himself. Jefferson thought the only thing standing between free men and tyranny was a "well armed public", but ol' Al knows lots better. You don't need no stinking gun...just let the government take care of you. If Jefferson could have been born a couple hundred later, he could have shook hands with (liberal heros in their day) Hitler, Stalin and dozens of others and realized he was just being silly. And take care of you they will...when Al is done with us, health care will be free! Just imagine it...going to the clinic will be as pleasant as a trip to the DMV. Also, it will know doubt be as efficient as the military! What's most astounding is - those wiley Democrats can do all that without ever really examining the costs of health care. That's good - because we couldn't think of pulling the trial lawyers out of the health care system. If Gore had spent a little time outside the government and inside business, he might know what "non-value added" means. Oh! Sorry! I think that's supposed to be a secret because the socialist Democrats and their slavish main stream press never tell you how much "defensive medicine" contributes to the un-necessary treatments and surgeries taking place - 34% of surgical and medical procedures (Rand, 1990) or the enormous R&D cost of drug and pharmaceutical companies. No...now they're the eeevil "Big Drug" or "Big Pharmaceutical Companies". I've got news for you. The tax rates for the rich won't go up much more so, guess who's going to pick up the tab for this one. Yes, that's why he's steering the boat. Unlike stupid me, Al is sure that, once they've corrupted the system, "private" clinics won't come along for him and his wealthy, limousine liberal chums to keep them away from us commoners in the public health care system. But you gotta give him credit for playing the straight man in the most corrupt administration in a lifetime. The Clinton/Gore administration, unlike the Nixon, had the good sense to know that if you're gonna commit crimes, for God's sake, have the good sense to commit them against private citizens and NOT the DMC.
