fyi: new colorado-specific dual sport rides/events list
Posted: Thu Aug 17, 2000 8:20 am
Hello:
I have created a Egroups list for Colorado-Specific Dual Sport events,
rides, and stuff. My purpose is not to "poach" anyone from any of the
lists that I am sending this to. The purpose is to tune folks from
Colorado's Front Range into this new, but fairly empty, egroups list
to help us in this specific geographic area announce rides, schedule
group maintenance clinics, help each other out, etc..
A lot of times there are group rides going on but many folks don't
know about them. We can also perhaps do other things as well.
The URL for this egroups list is:
http://www.egroups.com/group/Colorado-Dualsporters
Having just got back into dual-sporting I'm pretty clueless. I am a
member of all of the MC lists I am sending this to. I see a niche
where this new, localized list can help us organize better. And, if
folks are planning on visiting Colorado please join in and perhaps
we can help you find good trails.
This group is not specific to any particular make of bike and is open
to all. But, I do have a KLR and a BMW GS..
Thanks,
Tom Vervaeke
