The key phrase in this post is the first sentence. I live in Riverside (Southern California), for those of you mature enough to remember Riverside International Raceway, home of the Winston Western 500, used to be 5 miles up the street from me, now it's a shopping mall... But anyhoo, I digress. I paid $4900.00 out the door, all prep, DMV, and tax included for my 99 in Nov 98. I can't believe they went up $800 in that short a time. Maybe it's my years of experience dealing with salesman, or the fact my dear old Dad has been a motorcycle salesman since before I was born ( and still is ). I think that if you let them know you are serious, and will pay cash, the dealer will be that much more flexible and negotiate a fair price. YMMV. CA Stu Stuart Mumford 99 KLR650 A13 99 Sprint ST
