vibration in handle bars

All this talk about vibration started making me pay more attention to
it on my bike since I have very little??
Here's what my set up is. I have original handlebars with Pro-gel
grips and ant-vibration ends on the ends. I also have the stock tire
too. For a 93 that ain't bad. only 9200 miles on it. But I do
believe I need a new one cause of the wierd wear on it. Anyway I
also put 4-5 psi in the forks. Been like this since 94 and no
problems. Makes the front end feel a little more stiffer and seems
to control better??
With all that I have very little vibration at all speeds and I just
checked it out doing about 90 - 95. It's great to be able to speed
LEGALLY. Well there's my input on that, hope it helps someone!

Hi Dash,
I agree that James at S-Trapp must have some sort of listening problem. I
gave him specific shipping instructions for my replacement pipe. Little
details like street address and STATE(!!) must have eluded him. You don't
think live in Oklahoma do you?
Thanks for the IDS info. The noise factor was one of the major
considerations that led me to the IDS-2 Quiet system. Too many loud noises
( machinery, tools, shooting, rock & roll, etc.) over the years have already
damaged my hearing. I don't know why, but loud pipes also seem to wear me
out quicker on the road.
I hope Daryl does the jet thing to his bike so you guys can compare their
performance. I had a WOW experience between stock and the current state of
modifications too, but I imagine the IDS race series makes more power. Is
there any chance for you to dyno test your respective bikes for reference?
I've been following the problems you've been having with your replacement
stator, etc. I sympathize and hope you can get things lined out soon.
