loose bolts bad mechanics

Post by Van » Mon Aug 07, 2000 7:32 pm

Here's a trick I'm sure a few of us use. Get one of those white marker pens the permenent ones. and simple mark all your bolts and screws one day. That way you can glance at all your screws before riding seeing if any have moved. And when you take it in for that "service" you will be able to tell if he actually removed anything. With all this stuff about bad mechanics on the list makes me want to go to school to get degree in small engines and such and get out of military to work on bikes with percision. Since i'm brainwashed already to do this on multibillion dollar planes. If we forget something on a plane, things get pretty hairy like a panel or tire falling out of the sky. Glad I double check my work. And no nothing like that has happened to me or my workers. Later, Van
