Yes, and that is the difference with car dealers, people know you paid $600 and will try to talk you down as close to that $600 as possible. There is only a few percent left in a car once it's sold (unless you have the hot unit, beetle a couple of years ago, PT now). Out of that couple percent 'profit' has to be deducted salaries, rent, tools, supplies, upkeep, insurance, taxes, etc... Not much left in the end. I think I read a couple of years ago that a typical profitable car dealer makes 1-1.5% return once everything is said and done. And yes, I work for a car dealer. moab ride this fall
I'm up for it Tom. I'm working out another vacation for this year right now. I can get another 9 days off, 3 to get there, 3 to ride in Moab & area and 3 days to get back. I'm planning for a late Sept/early Oct timeframe. Does this fit what you are thinking of? Anyone else out there?
