NKLR Off for a year
Hello List!
I'm about to leave for a one year trip. The plan is to ride up to Yukon and back to Calgary with my girlfriend (she rides an XT350) for 3 weeks., then ride south by myself on/close to the west coast of the continent, all the way to Ushuaia, then along/close to the east coast ride north.
I can be reached only on e-mail (tra_pista@...), but please, don't flood me with e-mails. I'll keep you updated on where am I, and how things are going.
I kept my subscription, but I set it to web mode (no e-mails) since this address will cease to exist from tomorrow.
Since I have very limited time, most likely I will not be able to reply to questions, but if you plan to ride somewhere and you think we can meet somewhere, send me a SHORT e-mail on my hotmail address. To prevent MC related questions, here is a set of description of things you might ask about:
- MC: Kawa KLR-650 A13,
- 3 Pelican 1520 boxes,
- home made rack,
- Canyon tank pannier bags,
- Action tank bag - with home made modifications,
- home made pouch on the handle bar,
- MSR bash plate,
- rear master cylinder protector,
- NATO ammo box for tools in front of the engine,
- gasoline canister,
- map plate behind the windshield, above the instrument panel,
- Joe Rocket jacket and pants,
- Zeus open face helmet with shield,
- Garmin eTrex, compass and maps.
- kitchenware,
- photo gear,
- clothes,
- tarp, hammock and sleeping bag.
- Spanish books and travel guide books.
...
I'd like to thank you to all of you guys and gals, especially to the KLR-650 riders, you are a great bunch, and I have learned a lot from you.
Take care, keep the rubber end down, and good luck to all of you!
Cheers,
istvan+Eh13(Calgary - for now)
