ay on heard of a delorto carb (nklr)

There is a 1998 KTM bike for sale in my newspaper that says it has a DELORTO
carb. The bike doesn't come stock with one. Has anyone seen or used a
Delorto carb? Are they any good? I think I heard that name used for carbs on
a VolksWagon Bug. I am sceptical about buying a bike with an after market
carb (did the owner install and jet it right).
