If there is any Sequoia's in August :) Check the news if anyone wonders what I am talking about. The actual ride dates are August 24th-27th. We will have a base camp and go on different rides each day. You are welcomed to participate on any or all the days. I should have the plans for where we will camp this weekend. We will probably plan the actual rides around the campfire based on FS maps, and input from the Posse. Most of it will be two lane paved, fire roads, and some challenging single track (optional). Check the calendar next week at http://www.calposse.com for final details. Yeah, it will be northwest of the fire area. This is the general area we will be riding in. I will have a specific location soon where we will camp. http://www.mapquest.com/cgi-bin/ia_find?link=btwn/twn-map_results&zoom_l evel=6&uid=u6as0am6t3m2n8ke:r2uabluwa&SNVData=3mad3-0.fy%28a8whu2_%29u2g dr22%24tw2%28%3a%28_R%17%28_F%15%28x002w0%3a_n9ft0d6%28l%241w-u Russel'r -----Original Message----- From: monahanwb@... In exactly what area of the Sierra are you plannning to meet? I may be able to show up and meet up with the southern KLRistas. I imagine the Sherman Pass area is closed up at this time. Maybe a little further north? Backroad Bill jes' goofin off at work Visit the KLR650 archives at http://www.listquest.com/lq/search.html?ln=klr650 Support Dual Sport News... dsneditor@... [dsn_klr650] there are *some* decent dealers out there nklr

Here in Pittsburgh, Point Cycle in Aspinwal (www.pointcycle.com) seems to be the only dealer where I have found the service to be consistantly good. Most everyone there is helpful and friendly. I can't think of anything good to say about any of the other dealers I've visited in Pittsburgh, except for Zannotti, which unfortunately doen't carry Kaw. Most of the others left me with the impression that I had no business being there and they were doing me a favor by even talking to me. Just as a stroke of luck, Point Cycle happens to be the closesed dealer to me (about 10 min ride from home). BTW, I saw the new KLR650 and the new tank really makes a difference with the look of the bike...what an improvement. -Dave http://www.city-net.com/~davekle/ A8
