[dsn_klr650] front sprocket torque rating?

Post by Weaver, Mark » Mon Jul 31, 2000 11:41 am

i have also heard 72 ft-lbs, but... that's a freakin' buttload of torque (in scientific terms). since it uses one of those bendy lockwashers, i can't imagine why that much torque would be needed. accordingly, i tighten mine to much less than that, probably around 40-50 at most. that allows me to easily remove it when i need to. mw
