Just ride it and see what it does. Go for a cruise up the freeway and do a good old fashioned plug chop. See what the plug looks like and if it's looking lean then think about a rejet. [...]

Depends. Many people just fit a Dynojet kit and be done with it. Just upping the main jet is only part of the solution. The pilot jet _might_ need upsizing, and the needle profile may need to be different too. The needle has a lot of influence in the midrange along with the main jet, and very generally, the midrange is where many bikes spend a lot of time. There is no guarantee that the needle in the Dynojet kit is perfect but it does have some of the adjustability that is lacking on the stock needle. Mister_T
