choke cable lubing

The other day I posted that my choke (enricher) cable was sticky
and/or stuck. I lubed it and studied up on the advice offered by
Kurt and others, so I thank all of you who offered. Last night I
went out to roll the bike into my living room which is where I work
on the bike, and the choke worked fine, or at least a lot better. I
suppose this is from the lubricant sitting in the cable housing
overnight or something....so today I went and bought one of those
Champion cable lubing clamps that allow forced lubrication of the
cable (via the can pressure, anyhow). I was wondering if that since
the cable terminates inside the carb at the enricher piston, is it
going to damage the enricher to force-feed a bit of lubricant down to
the end of the cable? Have any listers force-fed their enricher
cable this way before?
