Oh and certainly don't shut up when you don't know. The best brainstorming
comes from creativity and often times "off" ideas. Nuclear weapons weren't
first built by people who KNEW how to build them. Edison didn't have a
clue what filament would work for the light bulb, but we don't consider him
a failure 200+ times over. ED!!! you're making me ramble......
There are over 500 people on the list that don't know the solution to my
problem and they aren't saying anything, which is fine, I don't want 500
responses to read. But there are the few who might know or think they
might have an idea... those are the folks that have offered their time and
cared enough to try and help, you are one of those people and I appreciate
that, thanks.

Can't this clock go any faster... Hmm I wonder what would happen
if.......................
Dear Red Faced in Windsor, No biggie.. don't be red faced. Remember who thought that the speedo worked off of a fluid (that was me), it turns out that there is a fluid in there but it's used to dampen the rotation rather than drive the needle. I'm wrong all the time. Hell.. According to my wife, I'm wrong even when I know I'm right.>Obviously I didn't think so. I do not own a KLR although I will in the next >three weeks. I guess I should shut up if I'm not sure, but the symtoms >sounded like symptoms i'd experienced with other bikes. > >Ed >Red Faced in Windsor Oh
