Ralph-
Yeah, they are the AM33,AM34's and they are pretty damn good on pavement. I
took them off road (read: wet grass, mud, gravel) and they're alright, but
you have to be real careful in anything technical or anything that could eat
your tire. I don't know anything about the Trailwings, though last night I
was persuing my Dennis Kirk Catalog and I saw some tires classed as 80
dirt/20 street which looked like slicks. I don't know much about other tires
as this is the first KLR and first 1200 miles on the bike, but I think my
next set will be the el-cheapo King tires or a Dunlop 606 r/K139 f... I find
that I don't like driving this bike fast on the roads and I am beginning to
like dirt more and more, so something which will get me from my house to
dirt would be perfect for me. I have an extra front AM 33 that I would be
willing to part with for a small fee... Let me know...
Thanks,
Zack
