Well after lots of thought, I think I am going to sell my '91 KLR650. I recently purchased a brand new 2001 XR250. I made the local dealer a low offer on the first one he had on the showroom floor and he took it! For my purposes, the much lighter XR is turning out to be a better choice for me. I was going to keep the KLR for my road bike but my garage is too full as it is (3 dirt bikes and a quad) so here's the details: '91 KLR650 5900 miles. Bike has been set up primarily for dirt but is Arizona street legal. Brand New IMS 6 gallon fuel tank. Moose Skid Plate. New Levers. New front SS brake line (not installed yet). Decent dirt only knobbies. Kawaski manual and supplement. UFO MX style rear fender. KLX 650 headlight/number plate. Bike includes all stock pieces that I removed and runs excellent. This bike is 80 lbs lighter than a stock KLR and would make a good 2nd KLR for someone looking for a serious dirt machine, or a good 1st KLR for someone who doesn't want to invest in a new one yet. $1,600.00 or best offer.
