Well, now the government is involved, we can all look forward to this great fun event becoming a red tape filled expensive clusterfuck! I understand they have an obligation to police the public lands, but I already have a Mom and Dad and don't need them to wipe my ass after I shit! If the government treats people like they are all stupid, a lot of people are gonna act like they are. A few folks get together to have some fun, and now it's gonna get policed. Great. brake light problems solved

Post by DonJonuska@webtv.net » Fri Jul 21, 2000 9:26 pm

Thanks to everyone for the help with my electrical problems. It appears that the front and rear brake light switches are on separate power sources and I managed to have both disconnected at once. The front was unplugged with a large clump of weeds stuck in behind the switch at the bars, and the rear must have come unplugged when I had the tank off to adjust the valves because it was disconnected right above the carb. One more observation about license plate location, even moving the plate up as far as it goes on the stock bracket will not stop it from being ripped off the bike with a chunk of your inner fender. My original plate is AWOL in the mountains of Wyoming somewhere and my new tag is bolted on under the tail light in North Dakota. Don KLR A13 "Salad Shooter" 73' TS185
