helmet color ???
I will be buying a new Arai full face helmet (RX7RR4) but I'm not sure what
color to get. It's either White or Titanium grey. Have any of you noticed a
differance in inside temperature from a black (dark colored) helmet compared
to a white (light colored) helmet? I know black cars get hotter inside then
white cars so I was wondering if helmet color would do the same. I'm not
that concerned with visability to other drivers with either grey or white
because both helmet colors seem to blend in to the urban (city) background.
I know orange, yellow, or lime green would be more visable but I don't like
those colors. I like the Titanium Grey color better then the White but if it
makes my brain cook I'll go with the white.
Thanks.

I read somewhere recently that someone who studied such things found that
white helmets caught the attention of car drivers better than the brighter
colors. I used to have a black helmet which did seem hotter to me. I doubt
that you would feel any difference between the grey or white.
