Hi Nick, Those are auxiliary wires, available to plug anything you care to into them. Some use them for GPS, some for Heated grips or heated vests or gloves. You can use them to connect a 12V plug to them, like a cig lighter plug, since many peripherals are adapted to plug into a car's cig lighter. LaterZ Dash

My Bad... Professor is right again. That gage wire will run a GPS or Radar Detector but I wouldn't connect heated anything to them. One more thing to turn to crap as soon as I touch it LaterZ Dash

Dash, My hat's off to you. You've done a valuable service for us in detailing the trials & tribulations of dealing with (heavy) motorcycle maintenance and accessory installation.
