====== I understand that's correct and includes wind noise through open car windows.

======= I have tall screen and an X-8. Still too much noise, so I use earplugs if I'm doing any highway traveling At All. I like to buy plugs from the local safety supply store...excellent wide selection, cheaper by the 500 pair box. There's some new cool ones that do about -30db or better, good for about three uses. And they help keep your ears clean to boot. You'll know you got'em cleaned out when they don't make as much sucking noise when you pull the plugs out. I'm half-serious...hauling them out quickly can cause substantial ear canal depressurization (pop!) because they seal well. eric
