seat repair

Hey guys/gals, I was getting off my bike the other day and got lazy and drug my boot across the seat and one of the little bootlace hooks caught on the seat fabric and ripped a little hole in it. I ride a '00 KLR 650 with a stock seat on it. Anyone have any suggestions as to a good repair? I'll gladly trade looks for durability. I live in Seattle so I don't have too much time before I'm forced duct tape it because of a rainy day, which I don't wanna do unless I have to. Kevin Midkiff Y2KLR 650 A14 Seattle, WA. USA
