Are you sure it wasn't a European Swallow? That would mean that your speedo
is only slow by 5 mph at 60 indicated.

Now I am just speaking from my first experience of riding the KLR this
weekend, not from having owned the bike for a time. I got a nice taste of its
capabilities though and I am trying to find one in better shape than the one
I test road. I probably will end up buying a new one, I mean compared to what
we paid for those Bavarian money wasters why not!
