I'll take too loose over too tight any day. The danger in going too loose
is if the chain is loose enough to jump a tooth or off the sprocket. You
might wear the chain a little prematurely in dirt riding do to more jerk
stresses in the loose chain, but then again, better that than bending your
countershaft.

For a couple of weeks now I have been trying to obtain data on Tengai parts
for what I now believe to be a European model (having ruled out Canadian
livery with a phone call to a Canadian dealership in B.C,). I am looking
for black plastic body parts which I believe to be from an 89 Euro Tengai.
Does anyone know of a European Kawasaki dealership that is web friendly,
speaks English, and is customer service oriented. I E mailed a couple of
British dealers but got no response after a week or so. Any info would be
much appreciated.
