Pete the grey haired streak is cool with this one. I remember hooking up ropes to chopped down little trees and to the back of my friends '47 FLH with Tank shift and foot clutch and dragging them thru the forest to built our log cabin camping house. Can't begin to count the times we struggled in foot deep mud and slick wet clay with this and Triumphs and Beezers. Even had a dude I knew that use to race an Ariel Square 4 on a scrambles track in 59 and 60. No one had heard of dirt bikes then. you just had a bike and did everything with it. My pride in my last year of high school was a 59 Triumph 5TA Speedtwin. Sold it in '61 when obliged to join Uncles Sams Missguided Children. Andy who rides at a cardiac pace now. R11RA Y2KLR
