88-01503 KLR650 Y2K FAIRING $91.79 Dealer $32.00 Price at DualStar DualStar 1-425-776-RIDE (7433) 10:00AM-6:00PM Pacific Standard Time or go to dualsport.org and click on KLR 650 Y2K SURPLUS PARTS Note: They only have the year 2000 green color. John Anybody have a non-bent spare? I banged mine up pretty good in the woods and it's gonna be tough to get it back to the right shape (if it's even possible). I haven't checked the price at the dealers yet but I'm sure it's too much (probably on backorder like the rear caliper too). dat brooklyn bum _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html John M. I should have thought to check them, but for some reason was thinking they only had body plastic...thanks to all who guided to the truth. Now I can try to bend mine back once I get the new one and have a spare for the next time a big ass tree decides to attack me. dat brooklyn bum _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html

nklr mailing list for yamaha xt 350?

Hello List! My girlfriend got a shiny new Yamaha XT 350 (it's lower then the DR350 I was eyeing on for her) and seems to be strong enough to get her along for a 15000 km trip from AK to CA starting from Calgary. I was wondering whether anybody on this list know a better mailing list/user group then the Yamaha XT list here at e-Groups, 'cause this one has 3.oo members (including me) If there are XT-350 owners on this list, could you, please, e-mail me privately. What I'd like to is: * what do I need to improve on the bike for long distance travel on AND off-road? * what are the weaknesses of this bike? * what important spare parts should we take along? (this is related to the previous question) * ... any suggestion would be most appreciated for the trip, riding, gear, dos and donts. Thanks a lot! Cheers, istvan+Eh13 (Calgary)
