nklr: texas riding

Post by JSherlockHolmes@aol.com » Fri Jun 30, 2000 9:12 pm

Well Folks, looks like the Sherlock wagon is a packin and a hittin the trail down south to the big o' land of Texas. Just got the word that we are definitely relocating from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Austin, Texas. HELP!! Does anyone know of available information concerning riding opportunities around the Austin area? I think I heard some mention of "Hill Country," but I don't know anything about it. To be honest, all I know of Texas was learned during basic training in San Antonio and tech school in Wichita Falls. Not real good memories, since I did basic during the middle of summer. Oh well, into the closet goes the leather Heine Gericke. Out comes the savings for a Darien. Any Texans from Austin on this list? Let me know what I have to look forward to. I look at it this way, its closer to Moab and closer to Colorado. Wisconsin is nice. Real good motorcycling opportunities up here. Look out Texas, the Sherlock wagon is a comin in. Jim Sherlock
