There are some questions as to the validity of this post, which makes it's rounds, annually, this time of the year. The fact of the matter is though, the rebels did put a lot on the line and many of them did loose everything. I'm looking forward to seeing "Patriot" and I hope that movie re ignites an interest in learning about how this country was formed. Today, public schools all but ignore this subject as well as the subject of our Constitution. If anyone would like to brush up on their knowledge of our Constitution and to better understand it's importance, please visit the "Constitution" section of my web page: http://www.city-net.com/~davekle/idxcon.html BTW, I wish people didn't refer to "Independence Day" as "the 4th of July". We don't refer to "Christmas" as "the 25th of December". Referring to our most important national holiday as "the 4th of July" serves to distract people from the true meaning of the holiday. I hope everyone has an extra special and safe "INDEPENDENCE DAY"! And please take a moment out of that day to reflect on the sacrifices that were made and the critical importance that we defend our liberty today just as the patriots did during the first years of our Country's existence. -Dave http://www.city-net.com/~davekle/> > > > > Fourth of July > > > > > > > > > > Have you ever wondered what happened to the > > > > > 56 men who signed the Declaration of > > > > > Independence?
