I was saddened to hear about this Friday evening accident. I'd
enjoyed a few of his articles. Another rider 'not seen' by a
motorist, apparently.

Yes, and as was already mentioned, the motorcyclist will lose every
incident - PERIOD!!! Although accidents happen, do your best to read
the traffic, give yourself an out, and especially with the KLR
brakes, don't tailgate - give yourself extra room to slow down since
the KLR is not going to when your life may depend on it.
Take care.

....close 33 million acres of Forest land that we now can ride in?
Each day the public input hearings in California's Nat'l Forests
close.
Ending, for now, the chance for people to be heard on this monumental
(pun intended)- Roadless Initiative issue.
The National Forest(Supervisors Office, or Headquarters) nearest you
will have info. on when their meeting(s) will be held. The Public input
meeting
is most critical.....
Voice your choice, either way, at one..........
Below are some info. links, perhaps of interest......
One regards closure of Utah land, to wilderness..............
