the DR350 is a fantastic bike if you're looking for something to ride legally to the trail and have fun there. it is NOT heavy. however (sorry kurt 8^), if you've got the time/money/interest, you'd do yourself a favor to investigate the XR400. just rode mine (y2k) offroad for the first time yesterday. all i'd like to say is WOW. it'll have a dual-sport kit at some point, when it becomes necessary/convenient to ride to the trail rather than trailer. by the way, anyone live in a state where plastic gas tanks are illegal on the street besides me? man, i can't wait to move outta here 8^). _pete -----Original Message----- From: Michael Hoyt To: DSN_klr650@egroups.com Sent: 6/24/00 12:15 AM Subject: [DSN_klr650] NKLR: DR 350 Does anyone know the dry weight of a DR 350SE? I'm going to break down and become a two bike person next year. I'm opting for a larger "adventure tourer" and a smaller bike for the trail. I think the DR350SE is too heavy, but I'm not sure.
