You're above all that! Quit your job NOW, Gino. I mean hell, you were looking for a job when you found that one, right? CA Stu < -- Unemployed and living on welfare. And his principles.

lunch only to discover that the 4Runner >belongs to our new CIO. To rub salt in the wound, he wants that spot to be his reserved parking space because it is >underneath a beautifully full cottonwood tree. They are going to restripe the lot this weekend and there won't be >anymore designated motorcycle parking. Do what we did, organize. We formed a company motorcycle club. Our company was also going to downsize the MC parking. Not only did we prevent that, they are now contemplating a covered section for us. As a show of force, if all your company bikers took up one space each in the lot for a week, the cage drivers might be on your side. We, BTW, are a collection of Harleys, tourers, sport bikes, standards, and a couple of DP bikes. And everybody waves. TomK

It seems to have touched a lot of people's dark side. Now, I realize that this group is comprised mostly of crotchety old farts, frustrated at lost yute and looking for a place to vent spleen and exercise what feeble wit and sarcasm is left in their lives, but all this advice seems misplaced to me. (Go ahead grammarians, parse _that_ sentence.) I mean, the CIO is a guy you want on your side. Wouldn't it be better to lead him into enlightenment than make him an enemy? Seduce him. Take him on a ride. If he turns into a biker, think how much more power bikers would wield in the company. TomK

He would proceed to pester and >bore him possibly forever.
In that case, screw him. Invite some Laker fans over. They'll know what to do to his cage. BTW, all the stuff about birds...D'ya think after the CIO gets fed up with the birdshit and stops parking there that the birds will decide to move on? Or will they look upon the bike as a more challenging target? TomK

Thanks Walt... Mark Also Squared me away off list. All this edumication and I'm still "8 UP". I'll post pics there from now on. I'll have more pics tomorrow. Last night was truly a gratifying day. My bike is starting to look like a real M/C. The drive train is complete. I'm installing electricals today. I got my replacement spoke yesterday from Buchanan's. I installed it and was re-truing when I broke another GRRR. I Double checked my torque wrench and calculation, not the problem. Got them spokes greased up well with MoSi2 grease and they still want to bind as I approach my modest torque value ( a little over half of what Buchanan recommends) Oh well... I was gonna have a bike that would actually stand on it's own wheels and roll last night before bed. :( Now I have to wait another few days for that to happen. Doesn't look like the Pike's Peak trip is gonna happen... Sniff.. Perhaps I'll lasso Daryl into a trip to go see Fred. LaterZ Dash
