bored carby

Post by Dash Weeks » Thu Jun 22, 2000 2:57 pm

I installed my freshly cleaned and re-built carby last night. However, I am thinking of taking it back off and chucking it up in the lathe. I'd like to bore it out to 40-41mm. I like the CV for the relatively low sensitivity to altitude changes so I don't want to change over to a Mikuni Flat. I'd like to get a bit more top out of the throttle. Will have an IDS with ? disks, have drilled airbox, Dyno Jet Needle, 152 main (considering bigger, but I need air up here is the problem ,7500 feet is home base), stock pilot and the idle mixture set screw at 2.5 turn out. I actually haven't had it running with all that set up, but hey while it's mostly apart. :) Any xperience or wisdom out there? LaterZ Dash

> Which bash plate should I go with: Moose or Happy Trails?
AFAIK, Happy Trails doesn't make a bash plate they sell a Moose modified and built up around the water pump...
> Is the screen offered by Kawasaki the best choice for a larger screen?
some folks don't like a built up screen at all...I do...and like the heavy duty Clearview ask for Craig ... Kurt
