[dsn_klr650] nklr: headlamp tubular grill

Call Aircraft Spruce. I just ordered a 2'X2' (smallest they sell), sheet of Lexan for like $10. There are many thicknesses available. I chose the 0.060" thickness. I also got a set of the 3M Dual-Lock tabs (marketed specifically for this application). They are about 3/8" diameter, clear, and work better than velcro. Can't remember the cost on those, but I got them from Chaparral and they were on the order of $5-7. I should be able to cut several protector plates from my 2X2 sheet if anyone is interested. You'll have to go buy the fasteners of your choice. Send me a Self Addressed Stamped 6X9 envelope and a $2 bill, and one is yours. Email off list for snail mail address. LaterZ Dash
