garmin etrex, worth it? (nklr)
Oops! Sorry, NKLR...
Anybody have experience with the Garmin eTrex?
Looks good for simple, non-map display directions, etc.

[dsn_klr650] acerbis rally pro hand guards
I suspect that falling hard on the right (wrong) side of the bike might
result in a sticky acclerator, but an allen wrench and a good tug would fix
it I think. Joe
your right there...that is what happened to me...except that it made it
loose not sticky...
.I lost it going over a wet wooden bridge last year......busted the throttle
plastic up a bit...but the Rally Pro's saved my wrist.....only problem is
that my cheap cruise control is now gone...(the guard was just tight enough
on the throttle body that it would hold the twisty in position...ala free
cruise control)... I miss it sometimes......oh well later Les 89KLR650
