Jim, You might consider the product sold by DualStar: it's a thick, rubbery, transparent, stick-on sheet (sounds repulsive) that adheres to the front of the headlight lens. I bought one, but it arrived just AFTER a stone cracked my (remarkably expensive) headlight. The new lens has the device on it. Does it work? I can't be sure, of course. Nothing has cracked the lens yet. One advantage to this thing is that it covers 100% of the glass, rather than filtering out stones over some mesh size I have not yet installed my higher wattage bulb, so I don't know how it will take the extra heat. -Spike "What's the opposite of politically correct?"
