Good Evening Fellow KLR Folk, Finished the installation of my Acerbis "Baja" Front Fender along with their Aluminum fender brace. Unfortunately, the fender braces mounting holes/slots don't match the KLR pattern. With about an hours worth of filing, the mounting holes/slots will match the KLR pattern without losing any structural integrity. The front fender needs to be drilled. The KLR's standard fender had holes about .250" in diameter. I drilled the ones in the Acerbis fender at .312" diameter to account for any slop. Laid out and drilled the front mounting holes for the brace, with the fender off the bike. Put some loctite on all the hardware, bolt her all up. Excellent fit and finish. I think this fender and the brace look hot. So for anyone else that has thought about putting a fender brace on, it works, just needs a little modification. Looks like it will work with the stock fender, also. Jim Sherlock
