I had to laugh at the up on pegs bit. Reminds me of a guy here in NC
(where one must wear a helmet) who rode round with his fastened to his
knee. The cops busted him, he went to court, and quoted the law which said
"a helmet must be worn and the chin strap must be securely fastened." quote
unquote. Fortunately for him, and unfortunately for law enforcement, it
didn't specify that it must be worn on the head. The judge let him off
and, as far as I know, the loophole is still in effect.
