There is supposed to be some high performance guy down south that has created a knarly 750 kit for the KLR. If you have thought of it, what prompted you to stay away from it. Juan, With Gripsters, I`m about 4500 rpm at 75mph ( indicated) on level ground and about 5000 rpm at 80mph. Tires make a difference. My wife`s F650 went down 200 rpm at 75mph with the taller King tires she put on. Skip
