I bought the bike 2 years ago when it had 14,500 miles. It now has 34,000.
The oil consumption has been constant at around a quart every 600 miles since
I bought it. There were two owners before me both local guys in their 50's.
I can only speculate about how it was maintained although the guy I bought it
from is an experienced rider. We'll know for sure what is wrong in a week or
so when the head and cylinder come off and get sent to the machine shop.
