I can't believe we're having this thread again....it was one of my favorites! OK, Skip come on over to the campfire and tell us a couple of bear stories. Just like in Lion King when the Hyena's are teasing each other, "Mufasa....ohhhh....scary...say it again." Kurt ---------------------------------------------------- I read this in our local news paper this week. No kidding. I know I posted this on other list, but since bears are a hot topic here, I'll post it here too.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Bears blamed in hiker death in Smokies Black bears apparently killed a woman waiting for her ex-husband Sunday on a trail in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park near Gatlinberg, Tenn. Glenda Ann Bradley, 50, of Cosby, an elementary school teacher, entered the park with Ralph Hill, 52, with whom she was reconciling. Hill told authorities he left Bradley on the trail to go fishing and returned an hour later to find her backpack on the trail and two black bears - an adult female and a yearling - at her body about 50 yards away. Hill said he yelled at the bears and threw stones. Another hiker ran to the nearest ranger station to get help. When three rangers arrived, they found the bears standing over the body, District Ranger Keny Slay said. The rangers killed the animals. An autopsy was planned to determine if she died of other causes before the attack or because of the attack. http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/dixiedualsportmotorcycleclub KLR 650 A-13 "warthogg" XR250R "superfly"

Quarter horses taste better in case of an emergency barbeque. Always carry briquettes and a-1 sauce. DAngus -----Original Message----- From: k650dsn@...
