curious about rpm limit

Quick question folks, I'm running a 16t countershaft sprocket, stock rear
sprocket, stock carb/intake and Cobra exhaust. I can't seem to push ol'betsy
above 6000-6100 rpm at WFO. Anyone out there with a similar set up? What rpm
you making flat out?
I'm saving pennies to buy a carb jet kit but wondering if this is all the
klr's can pull under normal circumstances.
