The idiot lights for the oil pressure would be a good idea. A sight window in the side of the engine case just tells you there is oil inside, not that you have presure. Unless the KLR works by splash lube instead of an oil pump. Harley riders check there oil a little differently. In the morning they look under their bike. If they see a bunch of black spots or a large puddle, then they know they had oil the day before. Harley - Davidson motto -- If it doesn't leak it doesn't have oil.
