it has an oil dark instead, sort of like an oil light, only you provide the
photons (or rely on the free ones from the sun). simply lean over (with
engine off) and make sure your oil dark is on. when it goes partway off
(some air color stuff is visible at the top of the window), put more oil in.
it's that simple. leave the idiot lights for idiots.

Well, my bike is now 3 days old and has 300 miles on it. I'm a lov'in
it. Anyway, I just noticed (actually I noticed some time ago, just
thought about asking) there's no oil light!! Does that mean I really
don't need oil? I can just run 'er dry and fill 'er up when I notice
that strange sound coming from the engine compartment. Or, is this
some kind of new fangled system that doesn't use a pump therefore
doesn't produce pressure for a light....
