[dsn_klr650] power loss

Hi Bryan,
I suppose you have checked the obvious things by now (loose connections,
burned wires, etc.). I just did similar mods to my A13 and have just about
the same overall and modified mileage with no problems yet.
I did note during my mod that the insulation on a couple of wires right
under the carb was a little melted. They seemed to have been in contact
with the head pipe. Just a thought for an area you might check.
Did you do a "Stage 1" or "Stage 2" jet mod to your bike. I did a Stage 2.
There was a recent thread about a guy in Europe who described a similar
problem. His bike was fixed by bypassing the side stand interlock I think.
Let me know how things work out and what your overall impressions are of the
mods.
Good luck,
Jim
